INSULATED ALUMINIUM HOSE
Kair Insulated Round Ducting Hose with 25mm glass wool insulation – for use with extractor fans, cooling systems, cooker hoods, and tumble dryers. Insulation minimises condensation when the hose travels through a cold spaces.
Insulated duct is ideal for ventilation systems where condensation is a concern – For instance, if your ducting runs through cold roof space. Wire wool insulation minimises condensation when the hose travels through a cold area such as roof space. A versatile product which can be used for low and medium pressure heating, ventilation, cooling, and exhaust systems. Made in the UK using a 5 layer laminate inner hose & 3 layer outer.

If not, what size insulated pipe will I need?answer nowA Hello Andy The short answer is no, the inner duct is 100mm.The answer also depends on whether the 110mm size is inner or outer dimension.What may help is a reducer which can be found by entering QS3584 into the search bar, if the 110 end is compatible with the pipe then the ducting will fit the other end.

QHi, could you please tell me if the 152mm dimension is internal or external and would it be suitable for a 150mm extractor fananswer nowA Hi SteveAs a rule ducting lengths whether rigid, semi rigid, pvc, or flexible are 152 outer dimension and therefore female fitting.Connectors, bends, T pieces and fan spigots are 150mm and male fitting so the quick answer is this will fit over the spigot on your fan.Please remember fans that are ducted should be in-line or Centrifugal type.

Can I cut this 10m pipe to the sizes required without damaging the ends?answer nowA Hello GaryThe answer is yes but would recommend cutting each layer sepearately as it is made in the UK using a 5 layer laminate inner hose, 25mm glass wool insulation & 3 layer outer.Large, sharp, scissors for the outer and insulation should be sufficient, the inner 5 layer also has a thin wire spiral for support so will need a wire cutter such as pliers.
What is the outside diameter of the insulated duct?

If there is a cold loft above the bathroom, you will need this kind of ducting. Good value for the money. I would recommend it to everyone who needs to extract the air through a cold space above the bathroom.

Good value product. Well made. It is very tight to fit on some 10cm connections, so some fiddling required. Can be cut to size and the ends can be sealed with duct tape to ease connecting. It would be good if the Web site had more information on how to use the product. Its essential if extracting warm air into a loft. The in line fans need a lot of additional products and not all are not listed on the site – extract valve, insulated ducting, tile vent, hanging attachments, duct tape etc.

Not exactly what i expected, quite fiddly to pull the pipe out of the insulation and fit but overall a lot neater than wrapping pipe in insulation.
