Kair Anti-Mould Surface Cleanser & Mould Killer Concentrate – 250ml – Clean Mildew and Remove Mould Growth

Can be used to clean black mould on internal and external surfaces such as tiles, painted surfaces and masonry. Contains 250ml concentrated surface cleanser that can cover approximately 30-45m2, for cleaning down and preparing walls after mould growth.
How to use
Dilute 1:19 with water
1. Pour the contents of the Surface Cleanser bottle into a bucket and make up to 5 litres with clean tap water.
2. With a soft cloth, sponge or soft brush, wash down all affected areas with the diluted surface cleanser taking care to remove any oil, grease or surface debris.
Note: Using this cleaner concentrate will result in the removal of mould but is not intended as a permanent solution – no cleaners are. Depending on the humidity and temperature conditions in your home, the time frame will vary although the average is about a month.
To be sure the problem will not come back we recommend you paint over the cleaned area using your selected paint and mixing the Anti Mould Paint Additive. This will ensure the mould problem will not come back for a few months to a year. You can use the Mould Control Pack if you are also planning to paint over the cleaned area.
For a permanent solution to solve condensation and mould formation, you will need an adequate amount of ventilation in your home. This can be achieved by using extractor fans or ventilation units. would this work on chipwood flooring

A Hello TonyThank you for your question. Unfortunately this will not work on Chipboard as it is a porous material. You can PVA the board to make it waterproof depending on your application. There is a water proof plywood or wbp mdf you can purchase from you local diy shop. This would again depend what your application is.Kind RegardsAnita

Great cleaner for cleaning mould affected areas. Does not have nasty smells that bleach product would. Cleaning will not prevent the mould growth, be sure to paint over the areas with the Kair Anti Mould Pain Additive [K-MEA] after cleaning for full mould protection. Disclaimer: I work for i-sells but have used this product in my own home to clean mould.

We used the mould cleaner to freshen up our sunroom following installation of a Drimaster Heat, which has solved our condensation problem. Plan to use it on the window frames in the rest of the house too. We are hopeful that the whole house will stay clean as well as more comfortable in future.
