NUAIRE GENIE BATHROOM AND KITCHEN EXTRACT FAN
The Genie extract fan has been specifically designed to provide continuous ventilation to single rooms such as toilets, bathrooms, kitchens and utility rooms. The contemporary design has is compact and discrete, while the components are long-wearing and easy to maintain.
The Genie extract fan is designed to work in conjunction with ‘rapid ventilation’ such as trickle vents and works by removing moisture from individual wet areas, preventing condensation problems. Quiet, economical and easy to maintain, the range is ideally suited to repairs and maintenance projects.

Lehmannanswer nowA Good afternoon Mr Lehmann.The main difference is, the Genie is centrifugal and can be ducted over slightly longer duct runs. It also has a maximum boost of 23l/s as opposed to 20l/s with the Isense.Neither are particularly powerful fans in terms of ventilation rate, so you would only really get a bit of background ventilation. Ideal if you have a cooker hood that is ducted to the atmosphere and is switched on when cooking. Feel free to call in if you require any further assistance.Kind regards, Marc.

It is low energy and virtually silent, the boost mode can be activated by the pull cord, light switch or remote switch (not supplied).
Present extractor operates by light switch but not adequate as there is mould growth on ceiling Is your extractor fan is a suitable replacement for existing fan ?

The fan you have indicated is another intermittent type and it may be better to go for a constant running / Low energy consumption, humidity controlled extractor.A few options can be found under a quick search code QS12424 - QS37219 - QS6268.

This fan has an anti backdraught shutter so will close when not in use. This fan will be suitable for your application
How do you clean the filters?

A Hello Angela Thank you for your question. You can clean the filters by washing the filter in warm water with a little bit of mild washing up liquid.
Could you please let me know the dimensions of the above fan as I have to replace an old dimplex bathroom fan with an off centre spigot and this seems to be the nearest model, that and the bathroom has not long been tiled and the client does not want to see any tile edges .. the dimensions of the dimplex fan is 180w x 200D.

If you set the switch to intermittent it will come on when light is on and off when light is switched off. The continuous setting is on boost mode when light is on and trickle when the light is switch off.
