KAIR RECTANGULAR PVC FLEXIBLE HOSE
White PVC flexible ducting for use with extractor fans, cooker hoods, and tumble dryers.
Flexible ducting offers an easy solution for running ducting around obstacles or in tight spaces where using rigid plastic ducting is unsuitable. Kair flexible PVC ventilation ducting hoses are manufactured in the UK with a light wire spiral reinforcement inside white PVC ducting material. Our flexible duct lengths come packed compressed for ease of shipment and can be cut on-site to the desired length.

A Hi Mike. Sadly not. The only external grill we have in our range for that duct size is an airbrick Take a look at VKC5631 and see if you can make that work for you.Kind regards, Marc

I am installing a heat recovery ventilation system and was looking at the flexible PVC hose where the pipe is hidden. I was told that this type of pipe created too much resistance to airflow. What are your thoughts on this?

What are your thoughts on this?answer nowA Hello MarkThank you for your question. Flexible hose is normally used for ducting to heat recovery units. It needs to be pulled taught and without any kinks. If you need to incur a bend in the run then I would suggest adding a rigid one as this will keep the airflow consistent where as flexible may fold back in on its self and restrict the airflow. A Hi FredOn the assumption you are quoting inches the short answer is no as this is 4 x 2. The closest we would have in an off the shelf size would be 220 x 90mm which is 8.5 x 3.5inches you can see this by typing QS3069 into the search bar at the top of the page.

Tape?answer nowA Hello Peter Thank you for your question. Yes the flexible hose will connect to rigid 125mm pipe by fitting over the rigid pipe and sealing the joint with duct tape. We also do a flexible bend which is approx.500mm in length the product code for this item for you to have a look at is QS362. If I can help any further please do not hesitate to contact me. I am a little confused, is this suitable for a kitchen extractor that requires 150mm ducting, as you indicate it is equivalent to 5? I need to ensure maximum extraction.

I need to ensure maximum extraction.answer nowA Hello JohnAs there is more resistance in rectangular ducting the dimensions increase to compensate so the 150 x 70 becomes the 125mm round equivalent.The 150mm round equivalent is system 220 x 90, this can be found by entering QS38819 in the quick Search bar
Is this a push on fit to the rigid plastic ducting or do I need a joining piece?

Can I buy this in a 4metre length?

A Hello Graham, This ducting is manfucatured in 3 metre lengths only. If you require a 4 metre length of ducting the best way would be to purchase 2 x 3 metre lengths (Part: DUCR3M/110/55) and join with a connector (Part:DUCVKC235). You can then seal the joints with tape.Kind regards, Michael
