Perfect for bathrooms and toilets, this super range of domestic fans offer an impressive extract rate and can be wall or ceiling mounted. Made using tough and durable ABS thermoplastics, the power is provided by a single-phase induction motor with pre-oiled bearings
Installation
Bathroom fans are designed for wall mounting (pullcord version wall mounting only) through flexible or rigid pipes or low profile, flat channel ducting systems.
Electrical
220-240V – AC. 50Hz. Single-phase. These fans are double insulated and do not require an earth. All wiring must comply with current IEE regulations. A double pole isolating switch, having a contact separation of at least 3mm in all poles, must be used with a 3 amp fuse fitted. The fan must not be accessible to a person using either the shower or bath and mounted a minimum of 1.8 metres from the floor.
Construction
These fans are moulded in impact resistant high gloss ABS thermoplastics for strength, durability and finish.
Motor
Single-phase induction motor with pre-oiled bearings fitted for a long maintenance-free life and protected by a thermal fuse.

Hi there,
I received this fan to replace a faulty one. I have installed it but the timer element does not work. The fan itself only has connections for a permanent live and permanent neutral - so missing the switched live which I think is common to most timer fans. Am I missing something..?

Does this fan also come on with the light and run on when the light is turned off?

is this product safe for use over the bath

A Hello WendyThank you for your question. Unfortunately this fan will not do your application. To install a fan above the bath area you will require a SELV fan. You would also need to know if installing in the ceiling how long the duct run will be and if any bends will be in the duct run.
