FIRE CONTROL VALVE (TO BE INSTALLED IN ACCORDANCE WITH MANUFACTURERS INSTRUCTIONS AND CURRENT REGULATIONS)
Description
FDV Fire Valves are a combined air control valve and fire damper. Under normal conditions the valve cone can be adjusted in and out and then once the desired extraction rate and pressure drop have been achieved can be locked in position. The valve, however, contains an integral thermal fuse which, when triggered, causes the spring-return central cone to close preventing the spread of fire.FDV Fire Valves have an adjustable central cone and collar made of epoxy-painted steel, finished in white (RAL 9010) and are manufactured under ISO 9001 quality control systems. FDV Fire Valves are supplied with a matching mounting ring.

Compliance:
FDV Fire Control valves conform to EN 1366-2 and EN 13501 standards and are rated to fire resistance class:
EI 15 (ve)S or E 120 (ve)S when installed through masonry or lightweight panel walls
EI 30 (ho)S or E 120 (ho)S when installed through masonry floors

Installation:
FDV Fire Valves must be installed strictly in accordance with the manufacturer’s installation instructions.
