Female Sleeve Coupling Connector – Connects Bends/Reducers Not Ducting
This female duct coupling is designed to join two male duct fittings such as 90 / 45-degree bends or reducers together.
Male components of the safe seal range will slip inside and form a firm and fast seal minimising installation time and allowing you to easily assemble and disassemble your duct run for maintenance or to experiment with different ductwork system designs.
This item is designed for use with safe seal galvanised metal ducting but it can be used with equivalent standard metal ducting or some plastic ducting ranges.
Common applications for this coupling include as part of air extract ductwork for Bathroom or Kitchen extractor fans tumble dryers or cooker hoods.
It is also perfect as part of a longer duct run such as for hydroponics in-line ventilation systems air conditioning heat recovery systems or positive pressure/input ventilation systems.

If it is 250mm in diameter you are more likely to need a double male connector like - QS1639?

Could you advise which connector I need to join 127mm insulated hose.

A Hello Andrew Thank you for your question. There are two connectors that you can choose from. QS8662 is a plastic male connector or the QS272 is a metal male connector. You will require two quick release worm clips QS1376 to connect the hose to the connector.
