KAIR RECTANGULAR 90 DEGREE HORIZONTAL BEND
This horizontal 90-degree elbow bend can be used to run your ductwork around obstacles, along walls and into ceilings and offers superior performance and durability over flexible alternatives.
Kair rectangular ducting is designed for short duct runs and it can be easily concealed due to its low profile. It is perfect for installations requiring low extraction rates such as bathrooms, toilets, and utility rooms. It can be flush-fitted against ceilings and walls and can be concealed above wall units or inside ceiling voids.
- Made in the UK using strong high-quality white polystyrene/polypropylene material.
- Max / Min Temperature: +60c / -15c.
- Easy to install and durable, just push-fit duct and fittings together.
- For permanent fixings, seal joints with silicone sealant, solvent cement, or tape.
- Kair plastic rigid duct provides superior airflow performance and durability versus flexible duct.
- Suitable to use in compliance with Part F Building Regulations.
- Airflow performance independently tested by BSRIA or BRE.
Installation Tips:
1. Kair plastic ducting pipe is lightweight & easy to install. You simply push-fit the duct pipe and fittings together. For permanent fixings, you can seal the joints with a method of your choice (Popular options include silicone sealant, solvent cement, or tape).
2. Rectangular plastic ducting can be carefully cut to the required size using a hacksaw. Offcuts are always useful to keep to hand for joining two female fittings together.
3. If your duct run passes through a particularly cold area, we would recommend considering using our pre-insulated ducting to avoid condensation building up within your ductwork. Click here to view our range of pre-insulated plastic ducting.

A Good morning Stephen.If you ducting kit comes with 220x90 ducting, then yes, this should attach to the ducting. Just check that the outside diameter of your ducting marries up with the dimension of the I/D of this component, as shown on our website in the gallery.Kind regards, Marc

Sturdy plastic unlike some others. Good space saving alternative to the 204 x 60mm system normally recommended for 125mm compatible fans as all the adaptor/bend components that I used were more compact.

Part of a cooker hood exhaust system sized for 150mm diameter ducting at the fan outlet this component was used 2 times to create a dog leg in the run for correct alignment with the external wall outlet. Connection to the straight duct sections was easy due to the loose fit tolerance, white Duck Brand USA tape the linen reinforced type 50mm wide, was used to secure and seal the joins. A surprisingly rigid duct run was created that I am happy with.
