Rytons Floor Ventilator with louvre

Installation
1. Cut an opening in the floor and insert sleeve (sleeve can be trimmed with a fine-tooth saw to reduce the depth if required).
2. Fasten louvre through pre-formed holes in the flange around the sleeve using screws provided.
3. Peel off the protective film.
4. Note: When installing in an uncarpeted floor the flange may be trimmed back slightly and the louvre ventilator screwed into the floor to maintain as flush a finish as possible.
5. Important: In areas where radon gas has been identified as a problem, ventilation shall not be taken from the space below ground floor level (e.g. using a floor vent), or interfere in any way with any remedial measures already in place to prevent radon gas entering the habitable part of the dwelling.

Hi there, could you tell me the aprture size underneath? I can see its 212mm long, but not how wide as the diagram only shows the top brass plate being 95mm, but not what the channel is? Is it open at the bottom, or does it have a knock-out plate or something we can drill to the hose size?

The measurements are 212mm L x 125mm h x 65mm D. The bottom is open and will attached to 220x90ducting or there is an adapter product code QS48221 if connecting to round 4 ducting. Does the floor vent have a flyscreen ?answer nowA Hello FionaI have checked out the full product spec and also the BBA certification and at no point does it mention a fly screen so the answer must be that it does not have one.I also entered Flyscreen in the quick search bar on i-sells and although several dozen grilles appeared this product was not one of them.I hope this answers your question.RegardsIan
