I have found some technical data for this product that might be useful.Type: Cross linked polyethyleneclosed cell foam.Density: 33 kg/M3Temperature: -5°C to +50°CApplication Temperature: Above 10°CColour: Dark Grey/BlackChemical Resistance: Good resistance to manychemicals. However, prolonged exposure may resultin product swelling orshrinkage.Type: Butyl rubber strip, 100%solids.Specific Gravity: Approx 1.7cm3Temperature: -18°C to +70°CAgeing: Very goodChemical Resistance: Attacked by organicsolvents. As described. Make sure the items to be sealed fit WITH the gasket in place – its too late if the if it is already stuck in place and the fit is too tight.
